Meet Steve

For Steve Massey, every Woodshop project is a labor of love, and a personal work of art. With a 40-year background in construction, woodworking seemed to be second nature. His interest in creating wood products started with the decision to make a chessboard for his grandson when he joined the chess club at school. This sparked his interest to grow, and Steve immediately began researching other woodworking projects he could tackle. He discovered a real love for exotic woods and intentionally created pieces that showcased the natural beauty and uniqueness of each natural source.

At Woodshop by Steve, our mission is to create handcrafted wooden boards, plaques, trays and other pieces that blend beauty and function while adding a personal touch—making every gathering a special occasion.
